Elisa Buitrón is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from México and raised by an Argentinian mother who is also an artist, Elisa draws inspiration from her diverse cultural background and personal life experiences.

 

Her work spans from vibrant, colorful compositions filled with humor and wordplay to fashion designs. She explores themes of self-discovery and transformation, often using oil pastels, acrylic, various printmaking techniques, embroidery and collage to reflect on the complexities of being human.

 

Elisa is currently pursuing her BFA at Brooklyn College.

 

Through her playful yet profound practice, Elisa invites viewers to reconnect with their inner child and reflect on the process of becoming—with all its messiness, curiosity, and joy.
